Always Been Tyson

For nearly a century, Tyson has been synonymous with chicken. But as consumer tastes evolved, the brand faced a new challenge: reconnecting with modern audiences whose food habits, and cultural influences, had shifted far beyond traditional dinner-table moments.

To understand where chicken culture was heading, we looked to the source: the millions of conversations happening every day across social media. From superfans to niche food subcultures, more than 75 million online discussions revealed a broader role for chicken in people’s lives, spanning entertainment, sports, late-night cravings, shared moments, and everyday rituals.

This insight led to the creation of “Always Been Tyson,” a new brand platform rooted in the idea that Tyson has always been part of culture’s most memorable moments. Playfully answering the timeless question—what came first, the chicken or the egg?—the campaign imagines Tyson showing up throughout history, entertainment, and modern culture.

The platform was built as a full-funnel content ecosystem, combining cinematic brand storytelling with culturally driven moments and product-focused messaging designed to connect with consumers across channels and occasions.

Through this approach, Tyson re-entered the cultural conversation, expanding how, where, and why people think about the brand, while reinforcing its leadership across the entire Tyson Foods portfolio.
